Tom A. Mair, 65, went home to live with his Heavenly Father and many loved family members on Dec. 6, 2013.

Tom was born to Tom T. M. and Violet A. Mair on April 2, 1948, in Heber City. He was our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Tom was blessed to have a very special lady in his life, Margie Allison. Margie was both his partner and friend. She saw him through many years and filled his life with love, laughter and fun. Tom was known for his quick wit, the twinkle that always seemed to be in those classic Mair blue eyes, and his infectious grin that lit up the room. One of his favorite things in the world was spending time visiting with Gene Chatwin, both his brother-in-law and closest, dearest friend.

Tom is survived by his lifelong companion Margie Allison; daughter April (Rodger) Daley; grandsons Joshua, Nathaniel and Aaron; granddaughter Alexa. His sister Judy (Lee) Mair Lustilla; brother-in-law Gene Chatwin; many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Tom T. M. and Violet A. Mair; brother Tim Mair, and sister Sheila Mair Chatwin.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 12, at 1 p.m., at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 North Main, Heber City. A viewing will be held prior to services, starting at 11:30 a.m. An account has been set up in Tom’s name at Zions Bank to help the family cover funeral costs. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation. Memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.olpinhoopes.com.
