Grace EvaDean (North) Parcell, age 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at Victorian House in Levan, UT. Family surrounded EvaDean the day prior, as they met to lovingly remember and celebrate the birthday of her beloved husband and sweetheart, Mack Ivan Parcell, who preceded her in death on June 15, 2001.

Married on April 10, 1946, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple she was a tender, faithful and committed companion throughout her life, supporting her husband in his various roles and responsibilities. They welcomed 10 children into their family as well as 2 foster children under the Indian Placement Program.

Born on Jan. 6, 1927, in Provo, EvaDean’s greatest love and joy throughout her life came from her family. She is remembered most for the unconditional love she offered to all. Her devotion and love for humankind remains her wonderful legacy for all to follow. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she delighted in serving faithfully the various callings given throughout her life. She and her husband served a Temple mission from 1992 to 1994 in St. George. Her hallmark was the 25 years she served in the Provo and Mt. Timpanogos Temples.

In addition to her husband, her two oldest children, Margaret Kimball and Martin Mack Parcell, and her son-in-law Dennis Bishop, preceded her in death. Her parents Mill and Grace North and a brother Calvin North preceded her also in death. She is survived by Randy Kimball (Margaret’s husband) and his wife Carol, Lisa Parcell (Martin’s wife), her daughters, Polly Bishop, Trudy Bishop and husband Jerry, Faye Fuller and husband Howard, Kaye Mitchell and husband Jon, Cindy Swensen and husband Mark, Shauna Durrant and husband Rob, Becky Pulver and husband John, and Rachel Dansie and husband Shawn, her foster children, Nora Begay and David Halona, 54 grandchildren and 121 great-grandchildren, with 5 on the way. She has a sister Myrna and husband Bob Kowallis, also a sister-in-law Darlene North still living.

A huge thank you to the Victorian House assisted living for their tender-loving care they gave to our sweet Mother.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m., at the American Fork 30th Ward building, 261 North 900 East, American Fork.
