In recognition of National Make a Difference Day, Molina Healthcare donated 7,000 diapers to the Wasatch Diaper Bank on October 25 which provided 45 families with enough diapers for one month. The Wasatch Diaper Bank has experienced a large increase in demand for their services and relies on donations to help meet the need.

“We are so grateful for Molina Healthcare’s contribution and hope that other organizations will also hear about our mission so together, we can keep babies healthy and dry,” said Terra Webster, chief executive officer of The Wasatch Diaper Bank.

To continue serving low-income families in need of diapers, The Wasatch Diaper Bank is hosting a Diaper Drive on November 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Smith’s in Heber to collect donations from the community for future distribution events. Molina Healthcare’s cat doctor mascot will also be there to encourage participation and give out treats to kids.

“We are pleased to be a supporter of the Wasatch Diaper Bank and hope that our small contribution will help ease the burden and give the organization more time to gather donations for their next distribution,” said Adam Grimaldo, manager of community outreach for Molina Healthcare of Utah.
