Eyes shining with excitement, wide grins, gasps of awe -- these are all reactions you can expect from your child, spouse, or friend when you treat them to an evening of fast horses, slick cowboys, and heartwarming melodies at the Wild West Show on Wednesday, November 4th at 7:00 p.m. As an integral part of Heber City's 15th annual Cowboy Poetry Gathering and Buckaroo Fair, this year's elaborate western show is based on the famous Pony Express, which celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2010. Producers Donnette Hicks and Kay Shean promise that this year's show features the most amazing set, incredible horse movement, and talented cast ever.
The Wild West Show will take place in the Wasatch County Event Center in Heber City, Utah, and tickets can be purchased online at hebercitycowboypoetry.com for $20/adult, or $10/youth ($22/adult and $12/youth at the door). Doors open at 5:00 p.m. when you can purchase dinner from Tommy's Texas BBQ as well as peruse the many vendors who will showcase their wares that evening, and beginning at 6:00 you can listen to pre-show live music and poetry.
